Sahasrarjun and Ravan used to worship Shiva Lingas which is installed on the banks of river Narmada. There are 11 dweepas(Lamps) of ghee burning which were lit in Threta Yuga. They are constantly shedding their luster of light till date. Devotees come from different places and offer ghee in the prayer. Every year in the month of Karthika Sapthami, people from all over India, gather and perform Aarthi. Processions are taken out in Maheshmati and all the cities and towns of India.
